For example, a vegetarian cannot eat Cesar dressing because there are typically anchovies in it. These are things that local vegetarian restaurants will take into consideration when preparing food. A vegan has an even harder time finding food when eating out. Along with not eating meat, a vegan stays clear of egg and dairy products. Vegans definitely try to hunt down local vegetarian restaurants. Although the entire menu may not be vegan, local vegetarian restaurants will understand a vegan diet more than a traditional eatery. Local vegetarian restaurants typically offer a few vegan dishes and can also alter regular menu items to make them vegan friendly. Finding local vegetarian restaurants doesn't have to be a very hard thing to do. You just need to know where to look.
