About Diamond Bar

Diamond Bar is one of the cities that is located in the eastern part of Los Angeles. In 2008, it was recorded that the population was near sixty thousand people. The name comes from the branding iron that was registered in 1918 by Frederick E. Lewis, he was the ranch owner. The branding says the diamond over a bar. Majority of the Diamond Bar, is where the residents live and it also has some shopping malls throughout the city. Another cool thing about Diamond Bar is that it has the first hydrogen fueling station that is scheduled to be built in the Southern Part of California.

The land grant that he received included Walnut Valley as well as Brea Canyon. The man that brought the land from Linares' widow, was named Ricardo Vejar. In return, he cleared all of her husband's debts. The main road in the city is called the Diamond Bar Boulevard. It runs on the bottom of Brea Valley. There are some housing developments that run along the top side of the boulevard. Diamond Bar is in the southeastern corner of the San Gabriel Valley. It is not that far from downtown Los Angeles. It is around twenty seven miles east of it. Diamond Bar runs along side the Inland Empire, and has the Chino Hills right to the east. Some of the cities that line the south of Diamond Bare are the cities of Brea and La Habra. Both of these cities are located in Orange County.
