Fulleton has its roots in Orange County. This is one of the most populated cites that exists in Orange County. The history of this city is kind of fascinating. There is a park that gives us some clues as to the life that was present before it was settled upon by the Europeans. They have proof that saber toothed cats as well as mammoths were present at one point and time in this city. The name of this park is called the Ralph B. Clark Regional Park. Gaspar de Portola was one of the first Europeans who had some kind of contact with the land. That was in 1769 when was the leader of a group of people who were on their way to conquer Mission San Gabriel Arcangel as their own. The first people to actually live in the city of Fullerton were Native Americans. They decided that they should name them and the Native Americans were called Gabrielinos ever since. Fullerton is one of the places where they began to look for petroleum. This began in 1880 and with it, the Brea Olinda Oil Field came into existence.
