When it comes to the Church of Christ baptisms, they only fully immerse since the word baptism is derived from a Greek word meaning to dip, immerse, or plunge. Also, in the Bible, it talks about baptisms given by the apostle Paul and he fully immersed his people. The Church of Christ also believes that baptisms should only be given to those that have reached the age of accountability. You should be able to understand what you learn, what you are choosing to do, and fully believe with all of your heart that this is the way to do things. If not, then the baptism will be meaningless. Parents do not get to choose whether their small children and toddlers get to be baptized. They shall wait for their children to grow older and to be able to choose their own fate. The Church of Christ believes in Heaven and Hell, just like most other Christian churches. They do not believe in purgatory, though. All in all, the Church of Christ is not much different from other Christian faiths. You should visit your local Church of Christ church and see what it is like. If you choose to join the church, all you have to do is be sure you will do not do anything that cannot be called upon in the New Testament. You should lead a good Christian life, repent past sins, hear the Gospel, confess and believe that Jesus is the Lord, and you shall find a good life in the Church of Christ.
