San Ramon is located in Contra Costa County. It is a city that lies in the San Ramon Valley. It has around sixty three thousand residents. San Ramon is home to the West Coast headquarters of the cell phone company AT&T. San Ramon is now known as the Tree City. H. Abram Wilson is the Mayor of San Ramon. He is also the only Republican that holds a major position. The Senate of San Ramon is Mark DeSaulnier. Joan Buchanan is the representative for the Assembly. Jerry McNerney is the representative for the U. S. Congress. The last three positions that I mentioned, are all held by the Democratic Party.San Ramon is located about five hundred feet above sea level. Mount Diablo is visible from anywhere you go in the city of San Ramon. San Ramon is bordered on the northwest by the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness. At the Northern tip, is the end of Bollinger Canyon. This would be the perfect place to take a vacation to, especially if you are a nature person. I strongly recommend going to San Ramon, the view is just so amazing. If you have the time and the money, you should go there. From the mountains, to the hills of the valley, it is just a beautiful sight.
The temperature is like that of the Mediterranean climate. It is temperate, seasonal, and moderate. The summers in San Ramon are warm and dry usually. Most of the winters are cool and wet. The winter is when they have majority of their storms. The temperatures in January are usually no higher than fifty eight degrees F and the lowest that they have reached is thirty eight degrees. The average temperature in the summer, starting at around July, is usually no higher than seventy five degrees and the lowest is normally no lower than fifty six degrees.When it comes to the people who are the residents, majority are white. They hold sixty two percent of the population. Next comes the Asians, who are about thirty percent of the population. Ten percent of the people are of Hispanic or Latino race. The people who are two or more race are about five percent of the population. While African Americans are an amazing two percent of the population. They have pretty much gotten rid of the Native Americans in this area. They only represent .4 percent of the population.
