In the United States, there are many different cities to visit that provide visitors with an educational experience. Cities such as Philadelphia, Boston and New York have all played important roles in the development and growth of our country. However, the one city that combines past history and is the center of our current government is Washington, DC.
Washington is a major city that is home of the White House, the Senate and House of Representatives. In addition, the city has monuments and pays tribute to past Presidents such as Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Washington is also the home of many museums and other attractions such as the world famous Smithsonian Institute.
