Deerfield Beach is located in Broward County. It is named deerfield because there once were a lot of deer that had this as their home. It has lots of different species of trees that are located here. This is the place that you need to be if you are a person who loves being outside with nature. Another place that you might find interesting place that you might want to visit when you go here is called Deerfield Beach Pier. You might also find Deerfield Island Park is a good place for you to visit. There is also a water park that is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.There are three private schools that are located in Deerfield Beach. Highlands Christian Academy is one of those three private schools. Another one is the Saint Ambrose Catholic School.
There is also a school by the name of Zion Lutheran Christian School. There are five public schools that are located in Deerfield Beach. These schools include three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The names of the elementary schools are Deerfield Beach Elementary School, Deerfield Park Elementary School, and Quiet Waters Elementary School. The name of the middle school is Deerfield Beach Middle School. The name of the high school is Deerfield Beach High School. There are also two libraries that are located in Deerfield Beach.The majority of the people that are living in this particular city are white. Whites make up seventy one percent of the population. African Americans make up sixteen percent of the population. These are the majority of the people that you are going to see when you come to this city. There are also some native Americans and Pacific Islanders in the city. They do not make up one percent of the population put together. Asians make up a little over one percent of the population. Hispanics and Latinos make up just over eight percent of the population.
