The city of Miami Beach is located in Miami-Dade County in Florida. It is actually located on a barrier island, which lies between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. 55% of Miami's population is foreign and population is around 88,000. Summers are hot and very humid and the winters are fairly warm. Summer months do hold spurts of wetness and the winters are typically very dry. Snow is one thing that has never been noted or recorded in the weather history of Miami, Florida. Being located on the Atlantic Ocean, but around the Gulf makes it inclined to be hit with a hurricane or bad tropical storm now and again.
