It does not require a solvent to bind the mixture into a liquid form. The coating is applied electrostatically and is cured under the heat in order to form a skin-type coating. Powder coating can be recycled and can be used again. It produces less hazardous waste than liquid coatings and it produces much thicker coating than the spray coatings. The liquid spray coating consists of pure silica that is extracted from quartz sand and water or ethanol. The spray produce a water-resistant coating on the glass and it is environmentally harmless and non-toxic. It also repels bacteria, water and dirt, and heat resistant. Unlike powder coating, liquid coating is breathable and it can also be used on plants and seeds. Color coating is a process where paint is applied to the glass. It can be coated in the means of electrochromic process, oil based, matte, enamel, air-dried, or self-adhesive.
