Located on the Missouri River, Great Falls, Montana is a city that 53,000 Americans call home. Great Falls gets its name for it's close vicinity to five waterfalls nearby. These waterfalls caused trouble for the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1802 when the famous explorers passed through the region. The city was officially incorporated in 1888. In the city's early history, it thrived as an industrial and supply center for the West. Great Falls weather allows the residents to experience all four seasons.
