More on Catholic Churches

Local Catholic Church members attend catholic mass conducted at various times of the day on Sunday. The catholic mass can be celebrated only by a catholic priest. Depending on the size of the parish, which is a single church within a diocese, one or more Catholic priests perform the catholic mass. The catholic mass also involves communion. The wafers which symbolize the body and blood of Jesus are put by the priests into the open mouths of members who line up in front of the altar to get communion. The catholic mass in The United States is said in English by decree of the Pope. The Latin mass is sometimes said on special occasions. A catholic mass usually lasts about an hour. The catholic priests usually live in houses provided by their parish or by their diocese. Since they are single men, they usually have housekeepers taking care of their needs. The catholic priest hears confessions of his parishioners. The process is secret, obviously. Those confidences are shared by the parishioner with his priest and are never revealed.
