Everyone loves to travel, whether it is to a different state, or even a different city that the person has never been to. In addition to traveling to a new place, the person looks into the history or attractions of the place he or she is visiting. Furthermore, if a person is visiting New Hampshire, it is the history that makes visiting the location worth the trip. For example, many bands of Native American immigrants migrated along New Hampshire's rivers for centuries.
In addition to Natives migrating to New Hampshire, it is also known for European's interest in the 1500s.Following this further, French and English ships searched the coast of North America.Additionally,Englishmen fished off the New England coast seasonally. Furthermore, the Englishmen would use the Isles of Shoals, for storing their catch to dry. Moreover, the first permanent English settlement that was in New Hampshire began in 1623. All through the 1600s, the people that have settled in New Hampshire would farm, fish, and saw timber in order to make a living and survive.Furthermore, when the American Revolution began, New Hampshire was a divided province. The social life of each province was different in comparison. For example the Seacoast revolved around shipyards, and would make town centers. On the other hand, the other side of the province focused on developing a permanent class of day laborers and even had slaves.
Many people in the center of the province were farmers who traveled from Massachusetts. In addition to the people that migrated to the province, the towns had very few saw mills, a number of taverns within the towns. The towns would also have a store or even public schools that children could attend.Additionally, later on New Hampshire became known as a major manufacturing state in the late 1800s,but at the expense of the traditional family hill farm. However by the end of the First World War, New Hampshire's old textile mills were becoming uncompetitive.New Hampshire also attracted many tourists, in the 1930s; visitors came to visit New Hampshire for the slopes each year, with the fascination of alpine skiing. In addition, New Hampshire became a booming state, which was transformed from slow growing man made resources, into the most growing state in the Northeast. New Hampshire is a state that worked hard to get to where it is today. Making it have a healthy economy for everyone who lives in the state, it is recognized for protecting resources and for giving the state character.
