If you're bringing the kids and want to gamble, you don't have to leave them in the room or playing at the pool, you could let them play in one of many fantastically fun arcades. If you don't want to spend any money, there are a variety of attractions that are completely free. The Bellagio fountain show is right off of the strip, in an 8 acre lake in front of the hotel, and it is incredible to see those fountains shooting so high into the air. the fountain show is almost like watching a geyser. Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 8 PM, you can see it every 30 minutes. After 8 PM it's every 15 minutes that you can see it.

On Saturday and Sunday they start at noon. The Eiffel Tower in Vegas is one half the size of the original, and you can find a spectacular view there. The sirens of TI is a show set in the 17th century; it's a show where sirens and pirates duke it out before starting a more modern party. From the buffets where you can watch jousting, the specially themed restaurants, to the free shows and gambling, Vegas surely is a hotspot for tourist activity. In the Red Rock Canyon, 15 miles from Las Vegas, you can find some spectacular views. There is an array of places to hike and picnic, for the area is very rich in geological features. If you take a cruise on Lake Mead, be sure to bring some sun screen, and a camera for capturing all the breathtaking views. In the state park, Valley of Fire, you can find 3 thousand year old Indian petrography, an ancient forest of petrified wood, and it's open year round. Vegas truly is a great place to visit for all sorts of activities.
