Located in the James River Valley and bisected by Moccasin Creek, Aberdeen, South Dakota was originally inhabited by the Sioux Indians. It was built with the coming of the railroads and flourished agriculturally. Given the comfortable climate and natural beauty buildings of business soon sprouted throughout Main Street in Aberdeen.
