Dallas, Texas is one of the hottest cities in the United States. Located in the north central region of Texas, summer time temperatures in Dallas can reach well over 100 degrees. Add the humidity and temperatures can feel like they have reached 117 degrees or hotter. The winter months feature cool temperatures averaging between 55 degrees and 70 degrees during the daytime hours and between 30 degrees and 45 degrees during the night. Typical days average 65 degrees with beautiful clear blue skies. Spring in Dallas is as good as it gets, with mild temperature days, glorious colorful flowers, and clear blue skies. Dallas is also an area popular for travel, both personal and business. There are many hotels to accompany both types of travelers, with plenty of fun and entertaining attractions in the city for anyone of any age. Dallas also claims fame from its food. Known for both smoking hot barbecue and some of the best Mexican food in the states, Dallas has plenty of notable restaurants that you will want to pay a visit and enjoy. Finally, shopping in Dallas is terrific! Visit one of the fine establishments in the area to pick out the perfect cowboy hat (or two) for you!
