About Lehi

The city of Lehi, Utah, is located within Utah county of the United States and is a city that is well known to be a center of population location and named after the Morman prophet Lehi. Since the settlement of the city in 1890, the population has been on the rise ever since, growing from just under 2,000 people to roughly over 46,000 today, with the white population making up just over 95% of its people. Most other races of the city rank very low in numbers as compared to many other cities located throughout the United States. Also, when the city formed in 1890, it was founded by Mormons and was first named Dry Creek. A man named David Evans was the first to document the first Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church.

The city is located within the Mountain Time zone of the United States and the climate is considered sometimes very cold and wet, but within the months of June-August, the weather can reach temperatures between 80-90 degrees. For those of you whom decide to visit or live in Lehi, Utah, although you may be able to find out a bit more than usual from your local Lehi, UT yellow pages and the Lehi, UT business directory, for that it is very public news that Lehi Roller Mills, which was founded in 1906 and family owned, produces, and distributes flour around the clock through the United States. The company has been said to at least produce over 100,000 pounds of flour per day, but today, most of the families original owners are dead, so it is said that the company is owned and ran by the late grandson R. Sherman Robinson, but the city of Lehi is not just for flour folks. Today, the economy of the city also consists of many restaurants and many retail outlets for individuals to shop. The city is also home to one of the most popular attractions Thanksgiving Point, which consists of a museum, golf course, and gardens that host the cities festivals and games. At this point, if you think that you are not missing out on something, it is nice to know that the city does attract over 1.4 million visitors each year.
