With millions of cars traveling on roadways each day there is one thing they all have in common. Big cars, small cars, electric cars, old cars, and new, they all rely on tires to get from point A to point B. Many car tires are interchangeable; however, some tires do have a specific purpose. Street tires, racing tires, snow tires, or performance tires, all have their own special design that allow it to perform above and beyond normal tires. Car tires take a beating. Pot holes, rainy days, rocks, snow, sleet, mud, and sand, car tires take that beating with little notice allowing us to continue to travel from point A to point B with little thought.

Vehicle tires are an important part of your cars everyday performance. Maintaining the tire pressure, and tire rotation can dramatically increase the life of your tires. Some tires are rated for 50,000 miles before you will have to replace them while others may be rated to 80,000 miles. Check your car tires every 5,000 for even tread wear. If you are experiencing uneven tread wear (wearing out on the inside, or outside of your tire quicker than the rest) you may need a tire alignment. Your local automotive shop will be able to provide you with the best local car tires, as well as answer any additional questions you may have.
