Local Urgent Care Centers accept most insurances, Workers Compensation, as well as cash paying patients. These Local Urgent Care Centers operating hours are later in the afternoon and stay open as late 10PM Some have longer hours from 10AM until 10PM. Local Urgent Care Centers can provide you with prompt medical care for any of the following minor emergencies: Work or Sport related injuries such as cuts that require suturing, and sprains (splinting), Respiratory Infections, Bronchitis, Sinusitis, Asthma, and Allergies, Common Illnesses such as Sore Throat, Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Aches, Stomach Problems, Colds, Flu, Minor Eye Irritations, Rashes such as Poison Ivy, and Bites, and other injuries like Minor Back Injuries such as Spasms (Slip and Falls should be attended at the hospital where more extensive treatment can be done, especially if a possible head injury could be present). After your treatment at your Local Urgent Care Center, your medical records will be forwarded to your family physician for your convenience. If you do not have a family physician, they also will assist you in finding a doctor who is right for you, to continue your after care of your injury or illness. Although the Local Urgent Care Centers offer after hours appointments for treatment, they are there for minor emergencies only.
