About Cheyenne

Cheyenne, Wyoming is gorgeous place to live. Its everything that a family would want to raise a family without the violence or big city life.

Just about everything is found in the Cheyenne, Wyoming yellow pages. They have all of their businesses listed there. They have everything the big city offers without the fast city life. They have a yearly parade and festival called Cheyenne Frontier Days. One of the biggest festivals around. People come from all over the country just for the rodeo itself. The weather is very windy throughout the whole year. It's no wonder why it's nick name is also called the Windy City or Chytown. The winters can be very harsh and cold. With snow storms all the way into the early part of June and July. Snow tends to stay on the ground through out the whole winter and early Spring. The summer temperatures aren't very high though so it makes the summers nice. The humidity isn't high at all so it's more of a dry heat than a humid one.

There aren't many schools listed in the Cheyenne, Wyoming business directory since the population isn't as high as other cities. There is only one community college and one technical school. There are only two high schools and one in progress. Cheyenne is the largest city in the state and is also the capital of the state. There are several state and government jobs because of that. Getting into one is difficult but once you are in there is always room for advancement. Getting a job with the state and living in Cheyenne can benefit you since the cost of living is lower than other cities compared to the rest of the US. The cost of living is even cheaper than it's surrounding cities. Many people live in Cheyenne but commute to Denver, or Fort Collins because the pay is higher and they can still live in Cheyenne. It is a great place to live in overall as long as you can get over the wind and the drop in temperatures at a sudden notice. While enjoying the low cost living and small town it can be a great place to raise a family or even start a new life.
